How It All Began ☕🍰

Before the first latte was ever poured, Bella Aurora Café was a dream—born in a family kitchen where hospitality was more than a gesture; it was a way of life. In Iranian culture, "mehmooni"—the art of hosting—means opening your heart along with your home. I grew up watching my parents do exactly that.

• I’d grind coffee beans by hand, savoring the meditative rhythm.
• My mother baked sweets with care — her baklava, delicately layered and perfectly golden, became our community’s favorite dessert.
• Guests left with smiles, saying, “You should open a café someday.”

And so, one day, we did.

The Meaning Behind the Name 🌅

Bella — a word that means “beautiful” in many languages. Aurora — our beloved town and a name that also means “dawn.”

Together, Bella Aurora represents a new beginning filled with beauty, warmth, and light.

“We wanted a name that speaks to everyone — because beauty, kindness, and community have no borders.”

A Family Tradition, Perfected Over Time 💛

When my parents retired and moved to Canada, my mother began baking again in our home kitchen. It didn’t take long for word to spread. Her baklava returned, and so did the joy it brought others.

That’s when we realized: our love of food and gathering needed its own home.

As a software engineer, I’d spent years in the digital world. But I missed the tactile magic of real connection — the way a cup of coffee can pause time. My parents brought the recipes, I brought the dream, and together, we created Bella Aurora Café.

Our café is a meeting place of cultures and flavors — Iranian hospitality meets international taste.

• We use ingredients sourced from local partners, including coffee from Hatch Roastery and artisan breads from nearby suppliers.
